How your information is handled

Privacy Policy & SMS Terms

Last updated

Iron Ambition Training is a private personal training and recovery studio in Laguna Hills, California. We collect the name, email address and phone number you give us when you ask for a consult or a session, and we use them to answer you and to run your training. We do not sell your information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this site. If you ask us to delete what we hold, we will.

This policy covers this website and the enquiries that come through it.

What we collect

We collect two kinds of information.

Information you give us. When you submit a form or call the studio, we collect your name, email address, phone number and whatever you choose to tell us about what you are working toward. If you become a client, we also hold scheduling records and payment records for the sessions you buy.

Information collected automatically. Our host records standard server and security logs, which include IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These are used to serve the site and to protect it from abuse.

Under California law these fall into the categories identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address), commercial information (services enquired about or purchased) and internet activity (pages requested). We do not collect biometric information, precise geolocation, or the categories California defines as sensitive personal information.

How we collect it

Directly from you, through the enquiry form on this site, by phone, by text message, or in person at the studio. Automatically, through the server logs described above. We do not buy contact information from third parties and we do not collect information about you from data brokers.

How we use it

To reply to your enquiry, to book and run your sessions, to take payment for services you buy, to send you messages you have asked for, and to keep records the law requires us to keep. We do not use your information to build advertising profiles.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the business, and they may process your information on our behalf:

  • HighLevel (also operating as LeadConnector), the customer relationship platform behind the enquiry form on this site, our scheduling, and our email and text messaging. See the HighLevel privacy policy.
  • Cloudflare, which hosts and delivers this website, and whose Turnstile bot check runs on the enquiry form to stop automated submissions. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.

These providers are permitted to use your information only to provide their service to us. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of the studio, our clients or the public.

Cookies and tracking

This site runs no analytics, no advertising pixels and no cross-site trackers. We do not use Google Analytics and we do not operate a Meta or Google advertising pixel.

The enquiry form is embedded from HighLevel and may set cookies necessary to display the form and to submit it. That form also runs Cloudflare’s Turnstile bot check, which sets a cookie to tell a person from an automated script. Our host may set a cookie for security and performance purposes. These are used to make the form work and to keep it from being abused, not to profile you or follow you to other sites.

Do Not Track. Browsers can send a Do Not Track signal. There is no common industry standard for how a site must respond to one. Because we do not track visitors across other websites, this site’s behaviour is the same whether or not you send the signal.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become clients are kept for two years, then deleted. Client records are kept for as long as you are a client and then as long as the law requires; billing and tax records are kept for seven years. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, and we will unless we are required to keep it.

How we protect it

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, including access controls and encrypted transmission. No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, using the contact details at the bottom of this page. You can stop marketing email by using the unsubscribe link in any message we send. You can stop text messages by replying STOP, as described in the next section.

Text messages

Iron Ambition Training sends text messages about consult requests, session scheduling, appointment reminders and studio updates to people who have given us their number and agreed to be contacted.

  • Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to opt out at any time. You will receive one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages after that.
  • Reply HELP for help, or call the studio on (713) 609-3458.
  • Consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of purchase. You can book and pay for training without agreeing to marketing messages.
  • No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, other than the messaging provider that delivers the messages on our behalf.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

This policy is the current privacy policy governing our messaging program.

Children’s privacy

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your California privacy rights

This section applies to California residents and is provided under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, and under the California Online Privacy Protection Act.

Categories of personal information collected in the last twelve months. Identifiers (name, email address, telephone number, IP address); commercial information (services enquired about or purchased); internet or network activity (pages requested, recorded in server logs). We have not collected sensitive personal information, biometric information, precise geolocation, or information about protected classifications.

Sources. Directly from you; automatically from your device when you visit the site; from the service providers listed above acting on our behalf.

Business purposes. To respond to enquiries, to schedule and deliver training and recovery sessions, to take payment, to send communications you have requested, to maintain security and prevent fraud, and to comply with legal obligations.

Third parties. We disclose personal information only to the service providers named above, and only so they can provide their service to us. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law. We have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding twelve months, and we do not sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

Retention. As described in “How long we keep it” above.

Your rights. California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to request deletion; to request correction; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; to limit the use of sensitive personal information; and not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. Because we do not sell or share personal information, and do not collect sensitive personal information, the opt-out and limitation rights have nothing to act on, but you may still submit a request and we will confirm that.

How to submit a request. By phone on (713) 609-3458, or by post to Iron Ambition Training, 26945 Cabot Road STE 109, Laguna Hills, CA 92653. We will verify your identity by matching the information in your request against what we already hold, and we will respond within the time the law allows.

Authorised agents. You may use an authorised agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will ask the agent for written permission signed by you, and we may ask you to verify your identity with us directly.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will post the updated version on this page and change the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
